I got up bright and early this morning. I was up before the sun, and most of the town apparently. I have decided to try and discover the town by running. I managed to run about 6k today. The town isn't huge, and before long I might know the whole thing. Or at least I will, so long as my glasses manage to keep from fogging up.
My entire run this morning, it was snowing. It was really snowing. I enjoyed it with the exceptions that I couldn't see, and I don't have sweat pants, so my knees where burning with frostbite. I was happy to have gone on a run, and I expect my workouts to be at least as pleasant, and possibly more so without a blizzard.
After my workout, I prepared myself for a full day at work. Work, as it turns out, is going to be a pleasant experience. There are aspects of creativity at time, but I also get a taste of mindless monotony. My day is broken up between warehouse work, and work at the resort. I get to do lunch with other staff members at the staff cafeteria (referred to as the staffcaf) which is, despite the grumblings of fellow employees, a pretty good place to get a $3 lunch.
At work's end, I stopped in at the Post Exchange for some anti-fog solution and chapstick before heading home. I went out with a few people to Peaches again for the cheap pizza. It was delicious. Again.
I had my first exposure to Pushing Daisies, and I approve. I think I will continue watching this show with my fellow Abramsers.
