It Was My Friday

My Warehouse
Yesterday was Friday.  It was also my Friday.  This is a term I've heard before, but always thought it slightly odd.  I understand it, but it's still odd.  It means that your weekend is starting.  My weekend is the weekend.  I win?
Anyway, the picture above is where I was supposed to have a half day yesterday.  I am such a good employee, however, that I volunteered to stay until 17:00 and put in a full day's work, as we are a little behind in preparing for the coming tourist season.  So instead of leaving and seeing this:

I left and saw this:

It's all gravy though, because I didn't have much else to do anyway.  I still don't get my first paycheck for over a week, and the budgey dictates my schedule right now more than I'd like.  Plus, I did get a lot done.  And I still get the weekend to do nothing at all, or whatever it is that I decide to do.

I went to bed fairly early last night, after doing a few lessons on Rosetta Stone, of which I have begun using.  I have to say I am liking my experience so far.  I did take German in college, but I am so out of practice, I figured starting over again can only help me.  Some of it is coming back nicely though.

I slept in today.  Made it to almost 8:00.  I have spent the last few hours just slowly getting ready for the day.  I think that I am going to make it my days goal to climb The Kramer finally.  It is free and there.  I'm here and broke.  It just seems to work out well.
