The Hangover
I had a good time last night. A little bit too good of a time actually. I went to Jameson's to help send of Sam, the guy I'm replacing, but I planed on leaving before 1:00. My best estimates put me bag home around 3:00ish. I have to estimate, because the details are a little hazy.
As I said, I didn't plan on drinking all that much, or staying out all that late. Good times were had, and the best part is that I'm no longer jet-lagged. Not as a result of last night, but I am lucky that I'm not, because I apparently didn't set an alarm last night, but was somehow able to wake up on my own at about 8:00. It was a miracle.
I was running a few minutes behind so I had to race against the clock to get to work by 8:30. I made it ok, but I was very hungover. After a big cup of coffee and some 7-11 style "hot dogs" from the PX, I was almost ready for my day. It was slow starting, but eventually I got into the swing of things. After I took the replenishment merchandise to the hotel, I spent the rest of the day going through a long list of items from our recent inventory which deviated from the numbers on record. I had to find and recount them all. It was tedious and for someone who was painfully hungover, not a great task.
After I finished and got back to the warehouse, it was almost 5:00 already, which is time to leave. I still have to receive three pallets full of new merchandise, which were too tall for our elevator, so I had to partially break them down which took more time. It was another long day. I didn't make it home to the Abrams until after 6:00. My hangover ended slightly thereafter.
I cooked a personal pizza for dinner and apparently everyone is going back out to Jameson's. One of our friends is hosting Karoke. I'm not super excited to go out again tonight, but I may be talked into it. I have made the decision early not to drink though. I'm not sure I could if I tried.
